| Synopsis | Towards realizing an intellectually creative society to contribute for developing the ubiquitous society, NICT holds an exhibition at the Japan Pavilion which is composed by NICT, NHK and Mitsubishi Electric in ITU Telecom World 2009, based on three principal themes: “ICT for Safety and Security”, “Universal Communications” and “New Generation Networks” In accordance with the above principal themes, NICT exhibits in four corners featuring 1) Floating Touch Display with demonstration 2) A Multi-lingual Speech-to-Speech Translation System with demonstration 3) Broadband Wireless Access on Air in the Near Future, and 4) Vision and R&D Targets for the New Generation Network. |
