Gentlemen,
       Due to traveling and the follow-on catch-up, I am a little slow in 
distributing the attached set of documents from from Dick Ferris in both 
Word and pdf format.  Dick has done a tremendous amount of work carefully 
specifying all the interfaces, and well as carefully studied the entire 
draft spec VSI-H document and made a lot of thoughtful comments.  Some are 
of editorial nature for clarification, and some involve some changes which 
are bound to be controversial and for which I solicit your comments.  I am 
working on incorporating a number of  Dick's suggestions into the draft 
where I feel they are appropriate and will likely be readily 
accepted.  Some of Dick's suggestions will clearly require a bit more 
discussion.  Unfortunately, I will be traveling again next week, so you 
probably won't see this until one week hence.  PLEASE, PLEASE give your 
feedback.
