Exp code | Date | Obs Time | Data Rate |
U7151A | 31 May
2007 | 06:00-07:30(UT) | 128Mbps |
U7151B | 31 May 2007 | 08:00-09:00(UT) | 256Mbps |
- K5 Data at Kashima 34m telescope were recorded with K5/VSSP32 sampler.
- Mark5 data observed at Onsala has been transfered to Kashima in
realtime with Tsunami protocol.
- Data conversion from Mark5->K5 has performed by M5tok5 software
developed by T.Kondo (NICT).
- The software correlator developed by T.Kondo was used the
correlation processing job.
- Above data conversion and correlation processing were run on
cluster of PCs. And Automated data processing scheme is completed
by using File Conversion Agent(conv_tool5.pl), Correlation Job
Manager(cor_mgr.pl), and Correlarion process agent software
(cor_srv2.pl). They communicate each other by TCP/IP and share
the processing.
The
correlation management tool is available freely.
- U7151A experiment was quite succesfull. Owing to above mentioned
automated correlation processing,
all the correlation processing were finished within 10 min. after
the last scan. And the UT1 result was obtained
within 30 min
after the experiment. This was the fastest record in
measurement of UT1.
- Regarding the experiment U7151B, Mark5 Data from Onsala 20m
telescope were intended to be transfered
in 256Mbps mode in real-time via
tsunami protocol, though, the data were not tranfered properly.
- The backup data observed at Onsala has been transfered off-line
mode. But the data rate recorded in the file was found to be in
128Mbps mode
instead of 256Mbps. The U7151B experiment was failed, probablly due to
switching of sampling mode of Mark5 sampler.
