Knowledge Clustered Group Outline

Knowledge Clustered Group is developing technologies to realize a living environment in which the credibility of information is secured, anyone can freely produce contents, and people can utilize the so-called "knowledge information" such as video, music, books, and dictionaries by searching, editing, and distributing contents as they like. We conduct research and development of the knowledge processing technology to support human's intelligent activities in network society.

Realization of not only "knowing" but also "understanding"

We are developing technologies for contributing to the creation of new knowledge which provide credible and useful intelligent information to user's needs from chaotic information environment. The goal of our group is to realize technologies for establishing independence for people who are tossed by information in network society, supporting a broad range of social activities, contributing to enriching our life.

Consistent research of knowledge processing from elemental technology to applied technology

We are developing technologies about Content Credibility Criteria for the information contents which perform informational reliability assessment based on the meaning of the reputation of an addresser, the informational surface-feature, a third person, etc., for the information which circulates variously in network society. We are also developing technologies about Knowledge Processing System with Intelligent, Analytical and Semantic Functions which integrate heterogeneous information resources corresponding to dynamic measurement of various relationship and structuralize knowledge by expressing the integrated knowledge in Knowledge Representation Media. Furthermore, we are developing the Navigative City of Books as a case study of Knowledge Representation Media.
