Overview

Accurate and trusted time is indispensable for safe use of electronic commerce or other important information exchange. We have started research on standard time applications including trusted time stamping and internet time distributions.

■Internet Time-Transfer Technique

Development of the high-precision time-transfer method using the Internet.

■Trusted Time-Transfer Technique

Development of the trusted time-transfer method for safe use of Time Stamping based onJapan Standard Time, which is generated by NICT.

■Demonstration Experiments

Experiments through NICT-TA/TSA-User are conducted to identify operational problems, to practice the load, and to verify the time accuracy at each location.
