Call for Demonstrations

Continuing the focus on innovation and commercialization, we have organized a technical demonstration session during the conference of ICOST2007. The purpose of the demonstration session is to illustrate the technical advances in the state of the art of smart homes, health telematics and their related technologies. This session provides focused opportunity for our industrial partners to demonstrate advances in technology and marketing, and to mingle and interact directly with the students and faculty. The session is also open to students and faculty to demonstrate their interesting new technology. Commercial products are eligible, but sales and marketing activities are not appropriate.

Space and basic facilities will be available for demonstration presentation. Demonstrators will be able to prepare their demonstration in the morning of Thursday, 21st June, 2007 and present their demonstration during the conference. The details will be announced after the demonstration session program is fixed.

To Demonstrators

To attend the demonstration session, all of demonstrators are asked to register as delegates to ICOST2007. Although carrying the demonstration equipments to the conference site, Nara Prefectural New Public Hall, will be charged to the demonstrators, any additional fare will not charged for the demonstration presentation. Applying to the demonstaration session, please follow the application steps below.

How to registerto the demonstration session

  • Demonstration registration can be done with three steps.

  • [STEP 1] Please download the demonstratin registration form, fill it out and send it to Email for All Inquiries with Subject "ICOST2007 demo registration" by 10th May, 2007.



  • [STEP 2] Please register all of demonstrators as the ICOST2007 delegates by 15th May, 2007. For the conference registration, please visit the registration page.

  • [STEP 3] Please submit a demonstration paper for each demonstration presentation. The paper format is available here (only in MS Word format). Submission should be sent to Email for All Inquiries with Subject "ICOST2007 demo paper" by 21st May, 2007.
* Notice: please kindly make sure that you are requested to register before 15th May, 2007. Non-registration and failure to pay the fees on the date of 15th May, 2007 will result in cancellation of your demonstration. "Space and facilities needs" in the form of Call for Demonstration cannot always be satisfied. They will be arranged by mutual consent.
