Block diagram of Long-Range Ocean Radar system

Both of the Long-Range Ocean Radar sites the one at the Ishigaki and the one at Yonaguni are connected via dedicated lines to the Okinawa Subtropical Environment Remote-Sensing Center (NICT Okinawa) on Okinawa Island. Observation data from each site is automatically transferred to NICT Okinawa. Radar control and data analysis are carried out at NICT Okinawa.
