Abstract I propose the theme as a new topic for further discussion with my wish to all scientists who are in the front-line research, in the field of materials and devices primarily or a position in the company, for the further development of electronics.
Also, I like to speak out my expectation and subjects for future technological development of all enterprises including Matsushita in the present electronics industry, and touch on the fringe of the present challenge of Matsushita Electronics.
To be concrete, these are “ The merging of communication and data processing” based on broadband communication after “ The merging of broadcasting and communication, so that I would like to convey our passion for the goal of the material and device development needed at a stage of Ubiquitous Info-Communication.
1.Updated silicon paradigm
2.An expectation for the material and devices except silicon.
3.Electronics, how should it be or how we expect it to be in the future.
