Abstract | Performance and reaction time are the only indices that we can obtain in a behavioral experiment. For an easier task, the reaction time is shorter. In a tachistoscopic visual experiment, the performance goes up as the presentation time of the stimulus gets longer. The mechanism underlying such natural properties of the phenomenon is modeled from a viewpoint of time-series analysis. Moreover, a new technique of data analysis based on this model is also introduced. |
