The043th KARC Colloquium was ended. Thank you for the participation.
Date&Time | November 24, 2004 |
Place | Conference Room, The 2nd Research Building, 3F KARC |
Lecturer | “Congestions in organisms and their modelling by CA” |
Speaker | Katsuhiro Nishinari ,associate professor, Ryukoku University |
Abstract | Traffic phenomena are seen not only in vehicle systems but also in that of organisms. In the talk I show our recentstudies on the modelling the traffic phenomena in ant trails and pedestrians by using the cellular automaton. Numerical simulations and their mathematical analysis are presented, and the similarity and difference between organisms traffic and vehicle traffic will be discussed. I'd like to show also a molecular motor CA model and its numerical simulations. |
