Lecturer "SPM studies of model systems for organic and molecular electronics"
Speaker Dr.Benjamin Grevin
(CEA-CNRS,Grenoble)
Abstract Our research programs focus on fundamental and technological key-issues of organic/molecular electronics, such as the strategies for mastering the self-organization of organic/molecular species on substrates, and the relationship between structural order, defects and electronic properties of pi-conjugated materials. These issues are addressed by using scanning probe microscopies (STM/AFM) and the related spectroscopic techniques.
In the following, our efforts for developing new SPM techniques will be described. A frequency molulation atomic force microscopy (FM-AFM) study using rigid tuning fork on polymer thin film will be discussed.
