Lecturer "Studies of microtubule plus end binding proteins in fission yeast show that CLASP influences microtubule dynamics independently of CLIP170 and EB1"
Speaker Dr. Iain Hagan
(Paterson Institute for Cancer Research)
Abstract Microtubule plays important roles in cell morphogenesis and chromosome segregation. In this lecture, Dr. Iain Hagan will talk about functions of microtubule plus end binding proteins, CLASP, CLIP170/Tip1 and EB1/Mal3, which regulate microtubule dynamics in fission yeast.
