| Abstract | In 1991, we started the research on superconducting devices using NbN with the Tc of 16 K, while most of the researchers were interested in high-temperature superconducting material with the Tc over 90 K. In the lecture, I will discuss the future research direction focusing on material and electric device, and also give a talk on how basic research and application-oriented research should be promoted. |
