S, C and extended L-band transmission with doped fiber and distributed Raman amplification

We transmit 690, near continuous, 25 GHz spaced channels in 138 nm of S, C and extended
L-bands over 54 km of standard single-mode fiber. Erbium and Thulium doped-fiber
amplifiers with distributed Raman amplification enable a 206.1 Tb/s GMI estimated data-rate.
