About Purchasing the EDR Dictionary (Academic Version)

Using the Dictionary (Distribution)

1. Basic Framework
   
   

   A user’s agreement is required in order to use the EDR Dictionary. The different types of user’s agreements are given below. For further details regarding these agreement, please contact EDR at edr_info@jsa.co.jp.

2. Research User’s Permit … Permit for universities conducting academic research

   • User Basis: Laboratory
   • Conditions of Use: Production of evaluation data (feedback) intended to improve the EDR Dictionary Data
   • Usage Fee: 50,000 yen for each subdictionary
   • Sample Contract: Academic User’s Permit (PDF formatted)

3. About the Revised Version

   The previous updating system was abolished from version3.

   With the release of new version, the price system was restructured.
   The price of the revised version and the new purchase price of the Academic version became same.

   "2.Research User’s Permit" is reguired for the new version(v3) anew.
   

4. About the User's Agreement
   

   Download the document ‘EDR Electronic Dictionary User’s Agreement’. Either fax or email the completed document to our offices and someone will contact you with a contract.
