The Bilingual Dictionary
The Bilingual Dictionary is a set of bilingual dictionary records (see a figure below), with each record consisting of entry information, grammatical information, semantic information, and bilingual information. The entry information consists of a headword and the grammatical information consists of part of speech. The information given for both types of information is the same as that described in the word dictionary record. The semantic information consists of a concept identifier, the headconcept, and a concept explication. The bilingual information consists of correspondence word information, and gives the type of correspondence word (equivalent, paraphrase, direct translation, romanization/katakana, and explanation), the correspondence word, and the part of speech for the correspondence word.
