Tunneling was performed parallel to the crystalline c-axis, and a single superconducting gap (Δn = 2.2 meV) associated with the π-band is observed. Vortex imaging in the π-band was performed with the field parallel to the c-axis. The vortices are found to be organized in a well-ordered hexagonal lattice. © 2003 Elsevier Science B.V.
