Abstract
The spray-jet molecular beam apparatus, which produces a molecular beam of non-volatile and/or labile molecules in a high vacuum from the sprayed mist of a sample solution, was previously developed. It was used for spectroscopic studies and as a method of molecular beam deposition of these molecules. In this paper, we report on an optimized spray-jet inlet system and its application to sample solutions of a labile porphyrin derivative.
