With the aim of creating new electronic, photonic, and quantum devices  in the information and communication field of the 21st Century, the Superconductive Electronics Project is conducting research and development of extremely sensitive and efficient analog electromagnetic-wave/photo detection devices based on the macroscopic quantum effect in superconductors, as well as high-speed superconducting digital circuit technology.
Also, we are aiming to realize ultrahigh-speed single-photon detector in quantum information and communications, ultrahigh-sensitivity attaining the limit of quantum noise, ultra low noise electromagnetic wave sensor, and superconductive photonic device capable for transmitting ultrahigh-speed serial data in photonic network.
