Place | Seminar room (25-304), No.4 Research Bldg. 3Fl. KARC |
Lecturer | “Reversible logic elements and cellular automata” |
Speaker | Kenichi Morita (Prof. at Hiroshima University, Graduate School of Engineering) |
Abstract | eversibility in logic circuits and automata (computing machines) is closely related to physical reversibility. It will become more important in the future when we try to implement nano-scaled computing systems by using microscopic physical law directly. In this talk, we show there are many kinds of very simple universal reversible logic elements from which a computer can be constructed. We also show a few examples in which such elements can be embedded. |
