NICT Diversity Promotion Declaration

At NICT, we respect individuals and promote Diversity,
Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) where everyone can thrive.

We aim to create a workplace environment where each person,
regardless of age, gender, nationality, or other unique characteristics,
has ample opportunities to take on challenges.
By valuing diversity, equity, and inclusion,
we enable everyone to maximize their potential.

to create a future full of possibilities.

Initiation Framework

NICT promotes an organization-wide framework to realize a working environment where everyone can thrive.
A Diversity Promotion Committee composed of executives, heads of departments, divisions, research institutes, and employee representatives, and reports directly to the President. This committee formulates and builds consensus on the basic policy for promoting diversity across NICT.

The Diversity Promotion Office is responsible for planning and coordinating measures in line with the basic policy, and also serves as the Committee’s secretariat. Furthermore, the “Diversity Promotion Project” established within the Office involves members with diverse attributes and age groups from locations and departments nationwide who advance concrete initiatives in collaboration with relevant departments.
