Diversity Support Office

NICT participates in the Diversity Support Office (DSO) to facilitate information sharing and exchange of opinions with other national research and development agencies. The DSO is an organization whose members are research and educational institutions working together to promote gender equality. It provides opportunities for events among participating institutions and facilitates information exchange.

Male Leaders Coalition for Empowerment of Women

NICT is a member of the Male Leaders Coalition for Empowerment of Women, an initiative supported by the Cabinet Office. The coalition brings together business executives and leaders who are committed to advancing women’s participation and leadership. By adhering to a shared “Declaration of Action” and exchanging experiences, challenges, and best practices through networking, members work collaboratively to promote gender equality and foster further progress within their organizations.

Nikkei Woman Empowerment Consortium

To enhance the collection and dissemination of information on diversity promotion activities, NICT has joined the Nikkei Woman Empowerment Consortium.
