Discussion with Amazon Web Services Japan

On August 14, Dr. HARAYAMA Yuko, Secretary General of the GPAI Tokyo Expert Support Center (Tokyo ESC) visited Amazon Web Services Japan (AWS Japan), located in Meguro Tokyo, and exchanged information on AI and cloud technologies with Mr. OKAYA Shigeo, Special Advisor to the Public Sector Headquarter, and other members in the headquarter.

The discussion covered how AI experts can be involved in the SAFE project, a key mission of the Tokyo ESC, and how the private sector could participate in the project. Additionally, there was a proposal from AWS Japan to consider possible contribution to future GPAI activities, with a view to the Tokyo Innovation Workshop scheduled for next spring.
