About the Workshop

  • The Tokyo Innovation Workshop is a workshop of a GPAI-associated project aimed to foster synergy and innovation by identifying key challenges related to AI development and deployment, and discussing promising solutions to address them.
    This workshop followed in the footsteps of previous workshops organized by the Centers of the GPAI expert community in 2023 in Montreal and 2024 in Paris.
    The workshop brought together a wide range of AI experts and government representatives from around the world to discuss future projects on themes such as AI Utilization in the Global South and Strengthening of Domestic and Global AI Ecosystems, Interoperability of International AI Governance Frameworks, Multilingual and Multicultural AI, Open Source AI.
