JPL Tour

The JPL tour is 2-2.5 hours in duration and includes a multi-media presentation on JPL entitled "Journey to the Planets and Beyond" which provides an overview of the Laboratory's activities and accomplishments.
Guests may also visit the von Karman Visitor Center, the Space Flight Operations Facility, and the Space Flight Assembly Laboratory.
JPL requires that all U.S. citizens, 18 years of age or older, present official, government issued photo identification (driver's license or passport) before being allowed entry.
All non-U.S. Citizens 18 years of age or older must present a passport or resident visa (green card) before being allowed entry.
Individuals without proper identification will not be admitted to the Laboratory.
Please be advised that tours involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing. Wheelchair access can be accommodated with advance notice, however wheelchairs cannot be provided.
Don't forget to dress for the weather as the tour will proceed rain or shine!
Cameras are permitted on the facility.
ITINERARY:
• 7:15am – Check in and Assemble at Marriott, Santa Monica
• 7:50am - Buses leave Santa Monica
• 9:30am - Arrival at JPL and check-in, tour museum
• 10:00am - Journey to the Planets and Beyond
• 11:00am - Tour Operations Complex, Space Flight Assembly
• 12:00pm - Depart for Santa Monica
• 13:00pm - Return to Santa Monica
Note: Times are approximate.
TRANSPORTATION:
•Complimentary bus transportation will be provided between the Marriott Santa Monica and JPL.
• Tour group members are discouraged from driving their own cars to JPL due to the challenges in locating convenient parking and logistics issues in catching up with the tour group without an escort.
ADVANCED RESERVATIONS REQUIRED:
• There is no charge for this tour
• Advanced reservations are required prior to the tour. No walk-ins are allowed on the day of the tour.
• Please RSVP using the on-line or paper registration form.
• If you intend to bring a guest(s), their name(s) and country of citizenship are also required.
• A maximum of 50 visitors can be taken on the tour. Once this maximum is reached, you will be put on a wait list and contacted should there be a cancellation.
