Conference Registration

1. Registration Fees
Registration fee is requested as shown below.
Participant Status By January 16, 2009 After January 17, 2009
Regular 15,000 JPY 20,000 JPY
Student (*) 5,000 JPY 7,000 JPY
Reception fee for accompanying person (**) 5,000 JPY 7,000 JPY

*Students are requested to write their supervisor's name in the registration form.
*If you have accompanying person(s) attending the Reception, please register separately.

  1. The fee includes participation in the conference, coffee breaks, proceedings, reception, and technical / sightseeing tour. The fee excludes hotel / travelling costs and meals other than the reception.
  2. Reception
    Welcome reception will be held on February 4 (Wed) at the conference venue.
  3. Technical Tour
    Technical/sightseeing tour will be held on February 6 (Fri) (see Overview Program).

2. Payment Method
There are three methods of payment:

  1. By credit card (VISA / MASTER / AMERICAN EXPRESS / JCB) in Japanese yen.
  2. By bank transfer
    Please choose the bank transfer in the registration form. The Secretariat will then send you the bank transfer form by e-mail.
  3. On-site payment (Japanese yen only)
    Payment can also be made in cash or credit card (VISA / MASTER / AMERICAN EXPRESS / JCB) at the registration desk on the conference venue.

For foreign participants, we recommend to make the payment via credit card. In case of bank transfer, remittance charges must be paid by the person transferring.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation of registration must be notified to the Secretariat by a written document with your sign and amount of payment.
The following cancellation policy applies to the refund.
Kindly understand that additional handling costs will be subtracted from the refund. Any cancellation made after December 17th, 2009 will be refunded after the conference.

Before December 16th, 2009 100% refund
Before December 24th, 2009 50% refund
After January 16th, 2009 No refund

4. Registration
Please click the “REGISTRATION” button below and fill out the registration form. Then, click the “ENTRY” button. The confirmation e-mail will be automatically sent to you.

We have already closed the Registration Form.

5. Proceedings (Abstracts)
Printed proceedings (only abstracts) will be handed over on the 1st day.
