Kairakuen Park

One of the three greatest gardens in Japan, Kairakuen was created by Lord Nariaki Tokugawa in 1842.

Ibaraki Prefectural Museum of History

Ibaraki Prefectural Museum of History was established in 1974 in order to display the exhibitions and historical records of Ibaraki Prefecture

Kasama Kogei no Oka

Kogei no Oka in Kasama is known as that city's "pottery avenue".

Kasama Shrine

Tsukuba Space Center is pioneering Japan's development of outer space.
The exhibit room offers reduced size models of rockets, and actual space satellites and rocket engines.
